Don't pump gas on MAY 15th
In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protestof gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas stationin protest of high gas prices.
Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in mostplaces.There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internetnetwork, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take$2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companiespockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station onMay 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oilindustry for at least one day.

What is Wicca?
Wicca is an Earth based religion, in which man and nature co-exist together in harmony. We are all guided through this spiritual journey by an array of Gods and Goddesses.
Wiccan Gods and Goddesses are not distant like the Christian "God", they are both within ourselves and manifest in all nature. Every living thing on this planet from the largest whale in the ocean to the smallest of organisms lurking among us, have there own unique soul and are watched over by these same Gods and Goddesses.

Summer is just around the corner and we need to protect our skin from the sun and daily grime. Healthier skin is dependant on a balanced diet, hydration, adequate physical exercise. You can follow four easy steps to improve your skin's health.
Summer is just around the corner and we need to protect our skin from the sun and daily grime. Healthier skin is dependant on a balanced diet, hydration, adequate physical exercise. You can follow four easy steps to improve your skin's health.
Step One
Cleanse. Cleansing you skin and removing dirt, makeup and other impurities that clog your skin is essential. You should cleanse your skin at least twice a day with a mild, non-irritating cleanser. Your cleanser should not strip your skin of its natural oils and it should easily rinse away.
Step Two
Tone. Using a toner rehydrates, cools, nourishes and refreshes your skin. Toners remove any remaining traces of dirt, makeup or oil you cleanser may have not removed. It's good to use a toner that is alcohol-free, as alcohol may dry your skin.
Step Three
Exfoliate. Exfoliants help remove dead cells that accumulate on the surface of your skin. Make sure the exfoliant is not granular so you do not damage new skin. Exfoliants with alpha or beta hydroxy acids improve the skin's rejuvenation process, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles.
Step Four
Moisturize. Just as the rest of you body requires hydration and nutrients, so does your skin. Your skin should be treated with a daytime moisturizer that provides a broad spectrum sunscreen daily. At night, using a more ntense moisturizer helps to rebalance and normalize your skin as you sleep.
These four basic steps can firm and restore your skin's natural suppleness. Each step is also beneficial for any skin type. You can choose products that are specific to your skin's special needs to achieve healthier skin.

Water Cleansing Meditation
This rite is best done outside, so that you can pour the water onto the ground.

Hold your cup of water in a cradled position with, both hands close to your heart. Find your center deep in the water. Feel the power of the Water, pulling for your feelings and emotions. Be in touch with the flow of your own passion: love, anger, sorrow, joy. The cup is the symbol of nurturing, the fostering of the Goddess that cares for all life. Be aware of how you are caring for yourself and how you care for others. The power to feel is the power to be alive, to be true, to be whole. Let the strength of your emotions flood the cup. When you are done take a few breaths open your eyes.

Full Moon Meditation
Ground and center, and visualize a round full moon. She is the Mother, the power of fruition and of all aspects of creativity. She nourishes what the New Moon has begun. See her open arms, her full breasts, her womb burgeoning with life. Feel your own power to nurture, to give, to make manifest what is possible. She is the sexual woman; her pleasure in union is the moving force that sustains all life. Feel the power in your own pleasure, in orgasm. Her color is the red of blood, which is life. Call her name and feel your own ability to love.
Woodland Maditation
This rite is best done outside, so you can fully take in nature.
Take three deep cleansing breaths. When you are ready, you will find yourself standing in a meadow of woodland moss and sweet chamomile . As you look around, you notice that you are surrounded by a grove of eucalyptus. The forest is dense, so you cannot see beyond the trees. You norice that in the center of the grove that surrounds you, is a blazing fire pit. Go to it; sit by the fire and take in the aromas of the woodland, let it dance inside your soul. For it will keep you warn on your journey of strength and rebirth.
You smell the sweet aromas that the warn summer night is giving you. Wild jasmine and meadow gardenia embraces all that is you. Stay for a bit and let the aromas of the summer air take you through your journey. Feel the energy that encompass your surroundings, take the message to your heart where you will find balance and harmony. Breath deeply and feel yourself connected with the universe and the Divine. When you are ready take a few deep breathes, then open your eyes.

Samhain, October 31st.
This holiday is considered the Witches’ New Year, representing one full turn of the seasonal year. A time of reflection, and meditation. The most well known aspect of Samhain is it's role as the Feast of the Dead. It is a night to honor our ancestors, to celebrate their lives, and to toast their memories.
Yule, December 21st.
The shortest day of the year and the longest night. The Goddess gives birth to a son, the God. The festival of the Sun’s rebirth, and a time to honor the God. Love, family, togetherness and accomplishments of the past year are also celebrated. It is celebrated by fire and the use of the Yule log.
Imbolc, February 2nd
All so know as candlemas. It marks the middle of Winter and holds the promise of Spring. A time to welcome spring. Represents new beginnings and spiritual growth, and the "sweeping out of the old."
Ostara, March 21st
Spring Equinox, marks the 1st day of true spring. The Goddess blankets the Earth with fertility, bursting forth from Her sleep, as the God stretches and grows to maturity. He walks the greening fields and delights in the abundance of Nature. This is a time of beginnings, of action, of planting spells for future gains, and of tending ritual gardens. Eggs are colored and placed on the altar as magickal talismans.
Beltane, May 1st.
Celebrats the union of the Goddess and God, and thus is also a fertility festival. Also celebrates the returning sun (or Sun God). The traditional colors for Mayday are red and white. Flower petals can be strewn about the circle and later swept into a pole and distributed around the perimeter of the house for protection.
Litha, June 21st.
Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year. Midsummer is a classic time for magick of all kinds. Believed that whatever is dreamt of on this night will come true for the dreamer. A celebration of passion and success.
Lammas, August 2nd.
The time of the first harvest. The God looses His strength as the Sun rises farther in the South each day and the nights grow longer. The God is dying, and yet lives on inside the Goddess as Her child. We are reminded that nothing in the universe is constant.
Mabon, September 21st.
Autumn Equinox, marks the completion of the harvest. Day and Night are equal. God prepares to leave His physical body toward renewal and rebirth of the Goddess. A time for thanksgiving and meditation. River and stream stones gathered over the summer can be empowered for various purposes.

Hematite

It is a very protective stone and will keep its wearer out of harm's way. Jade bounds us to our earth energies and physical instincts. Jade is a humbling stone.

Onyx brings balances and grounds. Excellent for centering/aligning total person with higher powers. enhance self control, wise decision-making, encourages happiness/good fortune. A strength-giving stone. A good stone for athletes or people under extreme mental and emotional stress. It brings balance to mind or body as well as strength of mind. A strengthening stone that can help you approach a lesson or task with greater self-confidence. Said to be good for the teeth and bones. It is highly recommended that Onyx be used in conjunction with Pearl and Diamond.
Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz represents love, beauty, peacefulness, forgiving, lovingness, self-love and emotional balance! Rose Quartz, is a soft, gentle, soothing stone that warms the heart center. Helps us discover the ability to love ourselves and makes us more open to other people. It is of particular value in helping us to forgive ourselves, hastening self-acceptance. Helps us realize that all change is important, even difficult change. Stimulates love and tender appreciation of all things.

Always Finish: If a task is once begun never leave it till it`s done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.

Tasty Waters
Sweet Woodruff Water
Fill a pitcher with water, add some lemon slices to your liking, and a good hand full of woodruff sprigs. Chill for a few hours add ice and serve. This is one of my favorite summer drinks.
Lemon Verbena Water
In a pitcher with ice add a sliced orange and two cups of loosely paced verbena, let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. This drink is very refreshing on hot summer day.
Blackberry Sprits Ice Cubes
pre-make some blackberries and mint leaf ice-cubes. The cubes will make your punch bowl look fantastic, at party time.

To a punch bowl add one gallon of blackberry juice a one gallon of sparkling water. Yes it is that easy

Citrus Bay Lemonade
1 1/2 oz Citrus Vodka 4 oz Sour Mix 1 splash Cranberry Juice 1 splash Lemon-Lime Soda Ice
Shake vodka, sour mix, and cranberry juice. Pour into a glass filled with ice. Add lemon-lime soda. Top with a lemon wheel.
Mojito
2 oz. Light Rum 1/2 Lime 1 Teaspoon Sugar Mint Leaves
Squeeze lime into chilled 10 oz. glass, add sugar and mint. Muddle until sugar is dissolved. Fill glass with crushed ice and pour rum.
Swizzle until glass frosts, adding additional crushed ice and rum as needed.
Garnish with mint leaves and serve with straws. You may top off drink with cold club soda, or a dash of dark rum.
SUMMER FOOD
Summer Fun Cabbage Salad 2 Cup shredded cabbage 1 Cup canned drain pineapple 2 Oranges, seeded and cubed 1 tsp. Sugar 1 Bananas Sliced 3 Kiwis sliced 1/4 Unsalted sunflower seed
Combine all but (sunflower seeds and banana). Including as much juice as possible. Toss and chill three hours. Just before serving fold in bananas and sunflower.

All About Weeds
Summer is coming and we all want to spend time outdoors. Not a fun thing to do when, we have to fear the little mosquito. I do not like patchouli all that well, but it is a decent natural insect repellent. See if it works for you.

There are many ways to use plants/oils
They can be added to a lamp ring, you can place a few drops in to very hot water, or in massage oil. You can also grow some of the plants.
Insect Repellent
I do not recall where I got this recipe.
1 DROPPER OF EUCALYPTUS OIL,
1 DROPPER OF LEMON GRASS OIL,
5 DROPS OF BASIL OIL,
5 DROPS OF TEA TREE OIL,
Take an empty 4 oz bottle add the oils and blend then together, add a base oil to the bottle. Shake well, use as needed.
